From Her Hands: Longevity

As a part of the Blackberry Arts Collective public art initiative, this work can be viewed in the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Atlanta, GA, across from Pyramid Grocery store. The Windows of My Soul project gathered artists from all over the city to create ‘windows’ for abandoned buildings in one of the oldest predominately Black neighborhoods in the city.

This part in our history requires a balance of feminine & masculine energy—a balance of supple & solid. In completing this piece, I reflected on my role in cultivating a balanced & prosperous future for myself & for others in my community.
